please send in your membership renewal to Diane Lord, our Treasurer, as soon as
possible. Because of our Foundation status, we need to have our membership
renewed quickly, so, your co-operation is appreciated. Only you can help keep our group going
strong! ***It’s not too late to register for our Scotch Tasting Event*** This is going to be great! Sunday, January 25th, we will
present our First Canadian Scholarship in Montreal as we taste different
scotches (or sip wine if you prefer), nibble cheeses and become informed as we

Event… See the above announcement. February 15, 2004 - We will hold a fun BBQ and Beer Bash at the Beach on
Sunday at the Hilton Hotel during the Southeast Recycling Conference. It will be free and we will be raffling golf

for GP/Harmon will be our featured speaker and we will be installing our new
officers – this will be a great event! ***Sad News*** Our deepest sympathies are
extended to Caroline Bell Grossman, Vice President, on the death of her dear Grandfather Edward Craighill
Cousins. The family will receive
friends for a viewing on Friday, January 9, 2004 from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. at the
Tharp Funeral Home Chapel, 220 Breezewood Drive, Lynchrurg, VA. A Memorial Service will follow at
3:00 p.m. A second Memorial Service
will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2004 at
Westminster-Canterbury at 10:00 a.m.
