Thank you for a wonderful and exciting year of growth and development!!

 

The Nominating Committee and the Board of Directors have nominated  the following slate of officers for the 2004-2006 term of office.  They are:

 

                                   President:          Jennifer Smith – America Chung Nam

                                   Vice President:  Marita Daniels – Weyerhaeuser Recycling

                                   Secretary:          Helena Urban – City Shredding

                                   Treasurer:          Diane Lord – JMK Fibres

 

The membership will be voting on this slate of officers at our Annual Meeting in New York on March 22, 2004!  We think this dynamite team will continue our forward momentum!

If you are going to attend the CPPA meetings in Montreal in January, 2004, please plan to attend the NAPW Charitable Foundation Scotch Tasting Party at the Marriott Chateau Champlain on Sunday, January 25^th from 1:30 PM until 3:30 P.M.  Be there to enjoy tasting the scotches, see the first ever scholarship presented to a Pulp & Paper student attending the

University of Quebec at Three Rivers and listen to speakers, Todd Kostal of Atlantic Packaging, Diane Thifault of Kruger, Christine Lemieux of Cascades, Susan Harrison of Huronia Transportation and Seth Goodman of Northstar Recycling Group.  The cost is $25.00 U.S.  Advance reservations are required, email Antoinette at antgeo@comcast.net to make arrangements.  It is going to be an informative, fun event you won’t want to miss!.

Caroline Bell Grossman will be gathering information for the quarterly update of the website.  Please check your listing on the website & contact Caroline if anything needs changed or if you have news you want added.  We want to spread your good news or add your links!!!

 

**********MEMBERSHIP RENEWAL**********

 

It’s that time of year…membership renewal!  Just want to give you a heads up that the renewal forms will be handled differently this year!  They will be going out by email! Just print it off and send it in with your payment!  Your membership is the reason we were able to establish the Charitable Foundation, add another scholarship school and implement our High School Student Awareness Program to inform students of the opportunities in our industry. 

Your membership is vital to our growth.  Together we can make a difference!!!!!
