Cheryl C. Sloan has been married for 36 years to husband, Richard, has two married children, Rod and Tara and enjoys the benefits of being the grandmother of five. Cheryl holds the position of Assistant Manager of TC Recycling LLC, located in Mars, Pennsylvania about 25 miles northeast of the city of Pittsburgh. A native of Pennsylvania Cheryl joined the Company in 1994 as an administrative assistant working in the landfill office adding as support staff to Edward R. Vogel, Vice President with various responsibilities. In 2000 she was promoted to her present position and is responsible for the marketing of fibers, metals and plastics produced at the recycling center, along with daily operational activities. TC Recycling is a materials recovery facility operating as a division of parent company Vogel Holding Inc. The founders and owners Edward L and Margaret Vogel began the business in 1958 as a trash hauling service. Through the years the company developed and expanded into a full-service organization and one of the largest independent providers of waste collection and disposal services in the area. Management and employees make every effort to thank those in the communities they serve by participating in civic, environmental, and charitable organizations and events. A three-year member of the National Association of Paperstock Women, Cheryl is also serving on the Membership Committee of Paper Stock Industries Chapter of Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries, Inc.
